Job Description:
The New York County District Attorney's Office Information Technology Bureau is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Project Owner/Requirements Engineer to bridge the gap between the business objectives and technical execution. This hybrid role combines strategic ownership of the project vision and delivery with detailed technical and functional requirements engineering. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring projects are both well-defined and executed to deliver maximum value.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Define and communicate the project vision, scope, and deliverables aligned with business priorities.
- Develop prioritize and manage the product development to maximize delivery, represent stakeholder interests and act as the main point of contact for cross functional teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Participate in planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor progress, resolve impediments and negotiate trade-offs between scope time and resources. Illicit and analyze functional and non-functional requirements through stakeholder interviews and document analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain requirement documents including process flows, wireframes, and matrices.
