Requirements
Must have:
- We bring at least 3 years of DevOps experience and 2+ years in cloud automation.
- We communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- We troubleshoot configuration and production issues independently with strong problem-solving skills.
- We have hands-on experience with Agile practices, including Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence.
- We understand the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software design principles.
- We have experience working with AWS or comparable cloud platforms, including Lambda and CI/CD pipelines.
- We are proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Groovy, and Python.
- We have experience with Java and SQL.
- We are familiar with API gateways such as Kong and with tools like GitHub, Maven, Gradle, and GitHub Actions.
- We have worked with configuration management and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- We can formalize recommendations and guide others toward solutions.
- We adapt well to shifting priorities and changing business needs.
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon API Gateway, AWS SAM, Snowflake, Quarkus, Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise-scale applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, ServiceNow, performance tuning, networking, load balancing, and high availability is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- We build and deploy development tools and infrastructure aligned to requirements and architectural direction.
- We translate stakeholder needs into practical solution steps and delivery plans.
- We automate and refine development, build, and release workflows.
- We write code, run unit and integration tests, and validate compliance with business and technical standards.
- We troubleshoot and resolve production application issues to keep systems operating efficiently.
- We collaborate with managers, engineers, and architects to meet development standards and implement solutions.
- We maintain CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions using Groovy and Python.
- We investigate CI/CD failures by analyzing logs and metrics.
- We review and assess code written by other team members.
- We support multiple API versions, failover strategies, blue/green deployments, and highly available environments.
- We use AWS services including Elastic Beanstalk, ALB, ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Redis ElastiCache, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Lambda.
- We integrate with platforms and tools such as Artifactory, Confluence, JIRA, GitHub Actions, ServiceNow, SonarQube, Black Duck, and WhiteHat.
- We create and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, Groovy, and similar languages to work with APIs.
- We author, review, and troubleshoot Terraform scripts and logs.
