About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with strong hands-on technical expertise and a proven track record of delivering in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Python, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and production support. While the primary focus is backend development in Python, familiarity with Java is highly preferred to support cross-functional projects.

This is an individual contributor role-success will require initiative, technical ownership, and the ability to collaborate closely with the team without heavy oversight.

Required Qualifications

• Should work on Artech W2
• Should have mandatory previous client experience
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python with proven production-level experience.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with production support in enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of Java (basic to intermediate) and ability to learn/adapt quickly to Java projects if needed.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid, fast-paced environment with minimal micromanagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications primarily in Python.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployments on AWS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring stability and reliability of systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects that may also involve Java-based applications.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams-proactively identifying tasks, aligning with team members, and driving solutions forward.
• Contribute as a leader within the team, regardless of title, by demonstrating accountability and technical leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working at Client or within similar enterprise environments.
• Exposure to co-located team models and hybrid work structures.
