Requirements
Must have:
- Expertise in Python 3.x, including OOP and asynchronous programming (asyncio, async/await) - Strong knowledge of API development, particularly with FastAPI - Experience working with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL - Proficient in data validation and schema enforcement using Pydantic - Familiarity with environment management tools like uv or poetry - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication skills for team collaboration - Ability to work autonomously and manage deliverables effectively - Strong attention to detail and commitment to high software quality
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and microservices using Python - Create RESTful APIs utilizing FastAPI - Write reusable, scalable, and optimized code according to best practices - Integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems - Develop data ingestion, transformation, and processing flows - Work with both structured and unstructured data using Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) - Optimize data pipelines for enhanced performance and reliability - Create Python scripts for DevOps automation and monitoring tasks - Develop utilities to facilitate CI/CD, cloud deployment, and environment management - Write unit, integration, and API tests using pytest - Implement runtime type validation and quality assurance using Beartype - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards - Troubleshoot and debug code across development, QA, and production environments
