Python Full Stack Developer

Salary: $79,000 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong experience with React and Python software development, including tools and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Dash, Dask, Flask, and Boto3.
• Experience building and supporting AWS architectures and using services such as EC2, CloudWatch, ECS, SageMaker, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Experience developing web applications with Dash and React, including session management, Okta, and AWS hosting.
• Experience with optimized data architecture, data pipelines, Glue ETL, S3, and PostgreSQL; familiarity with Athena is a plus.
• Knowledge of caching, microservices design and orchestration, serverless architecture using AWS Lambda, SNS, and SQS, and API Gateway implementation and secure API design.
• Knowledge of the investment domain, particularly equities, is a plus.
• A strong focus on producing observable, resilient, and secure code.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a full-stack team supporting our cloud-enabled signal generation, back-testing, data, and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with business partners, product owners, and developers in an Agile environment to build next-generation quantitative research platforms in the cloud.
• Conduct proofs of concept to validate patterns proposed by our architecture and platform teams, and help deploy AWS applications to production.
• Support the departments adoption of cloud technologies by participating in and facilitating technical talks.
• Apply modern software engineering practices and work closely with colleagues and business partners to develop investment acumen.
