About LuMATH

LuMATH is building Nova, a new intelligence architecture designed to help software systems reason, organize information, test themselves, improve code, and support advanced AI-assisted development.

We are looking for Python interns who want hands-on experience working on real AI infrastructure, not just classroom exercises or basic assignments.

About Nova

Nova is a modular Python-based intelligence system being developed by LuMATH. It is designed to combine reasoning, memory, decision support, testing, code review, debugging, and AI-assisted development into one coherent architecture.

Nova is not just a chatbot. It is a software system built to help organize complex development work, support intelligent workflows, and improve how humans and AI agents work together.

Interns will work directly on Nova’s codebase and will also work with an AI coding agent that helps write code, generate tests, identify bugs, and improve development speed.

What You Will Work On

Python development

Unit testing

Debugging

Code cleanup

Modular software architecture

AI-assisted coding workflows

Nova system components

Working with an AI coding agent to build and test software

Requirements

Applicants must have

At least 1 year of Python experience

Created at least one working software project, tool, app, automation, script, prototype, or system that did not previously exist

Ability to write understandable Python code

Interest in AI systems, software architecture, agents, automation, or intelligent tools

Ability to stay involved for approximately 5 months

Reliability, curiosity, and willingness to learn quickly

Internship Compensation and Future Opportunity

This is an unpaid internship.

LuMATH is looking for interns who want to grow with the company. Interns who successfully complete the full 4-month internship will be eligible for a post-graduation employment offer with LuMATH.
