Kellenberger's global revenues total approximately $225 million, supported by 700+ employees concentrated in manufacturing and selling sites in the US, Switzerland and China.
The business is managed by region (Kellenberger USA, Kellenberger Europe, and Kellenberger Asia), with a lean corporate leadership team.
We are seeking a results-driven Quality Program Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of quality assurance and continuous improvement within our CNC machine manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards, customer specifications, and compliance requirements, while fostering a culture of quality across all departments.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in precision manufacturing, quality systems, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on ISO compliance, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
Develop, implement, and manage quality programs, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal and external standards (ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements).
Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving yield, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and oversee internal and external audits, including coordination of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Analyze manufacturing and inspection data to identify trends, drive corrective action, and report key quality metrics to leadership.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Evaluate and develop inspection protocols and testing procedures for CNC machines and components.
Serve as the primary liaison with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues, audits, and complaint resolution.
Train and mentor quality inspectors, technicians, and production staff on best practices in quality control and continuous improvement.
Drive initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and root cause analysis (RCA) to improve operational performance.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, ideally within CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or a similar environment.
Proven experience with ISO 9001, GD&T, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and other quality tools and standards.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills with proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Familiarity with ERP and QMS systems;
experience with SAP or similar platforms is a plus.
Certifications such as CQE, CQM/OE, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt are preferred.
$110,000 based on experience
