Registered Nurse (RN)

SLM Services (Healthcare Staffing Agency) is currently seeking a Registered Nurse in Flowood, Mississippi and surrounding areas for a prn/part time position completing the following task

Face to Face Assessments in ALF or In the Patient's Home

Skills/Requirements

• Licensed in Mississippi as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions
• OIG/SAM/Criminal Background/Nursys Verification
• Ability to assess an individual's level of ADL and IADL dependency by observing them mimicking their activities of daily living, Ability to communicate with patients by asking various questions regarding their current health conditions, complete an cognitive assessment, Monitor blood pressure, body weight and height

-Compassion and Willingness to Listen and Document Details on Patients health diagnosis or changes to diagnosis

• Work Experience providing care to geriatric patients or long term care patients
• Ability to communicate with the practice manager using electronic devices (telephone call, email, and text message)
• Own a personal laptop/tablet/ desktop computer with printer and scanner (required)
• Ability to scan and upload documents to return to agency using fax or email
• Must have a valid driver license and car insurance
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home address to conduct assessments

Pay: $39.16 - $50.00 per hour
