Solid understanding and practical experience of Release and Deployment Management
Proven ability to effectively lead and partner with various levels of the organization to define and execute cross-functional technical initiatives and/or service delivery processes
Understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles, with emphasis on release engineering functions
Excellent customer service attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills using various mediums with broad target audiences
Strong knowledge of testing and defect tracking tools
Ability to work under pressure and in high stress situations with a calm demeanor
10+ year's technical experience information technology from any of the following disciplines (release management, project management, systems development, systems administration, systems engineering, quality assurance)
7+ years' experience release management, service delivery and/or similar process
5+ years' experience leading and managing teams across multiple locations and demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams
Proven track record of writing, managing and tracking against a plan
Experience establishing a new, ITIL-based service delivery processes, such as release management, in medium to large environment a strong plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience
PMP Certification a strong plus
ITIL Certification a strong plus
