Robotics Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Integrate and deploy robotic systems, including virtual safety solutions.

Develop and support applications using ROS (Robot Operating System).

Write, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs.

Deploy and troubleshoot machine vision systems.

Install and commission manufacturing equipment.

Manage project scopes, schedules, and vendor coordination.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (ABET accredited) in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, Controls, or related engineering field.

2+ years of automotive manufacturing experience.

Hands-on experience with ROS, PLC programming, and vision systems.

Experience in manufacturing equipment installation and commissioning.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Willingness to travel (~25%) and work overtime (~20%).

Preferred

Master's or PhD in Robotics/Controls/Mechatronics.

Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, ABB, Fanuc, Keyence, Cognex, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of SAE/ISO, NFPA/NEC, and UL standards.

Project Management certification.
