Security Engineer

Title:

Electronic Security Engineer

Location:

Phoenix, AZ

Pay:

$30-39

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Must Haves:

3+ years of experience installing security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder detection) in large commercial environments

Experience installing IP/network cameras including connecting them to the network and aiming/positioning them

Experience installing access control devices like card readers, door contacts, request for exit devices

Ability to walk 10,000+ steps/day

Plusses:

Experience installing Lenel and DMP systems (or similar systems like S2, Avigilon, CMP, Genetec, Bosch or Brivo)

Experience installing Axis cameras

Experience installing security systems in data centers

Day-to-Day:

Interpret drawing packages to guide system installation

Install Lenel CCTV and access control systems, including Axis cameras, and DMP intrusion detection products

Maintain project timelines, especially for device and head-end installations

Complete daily reports logging work completed

Identify and report discrepancies in drawings or matrices promptly.

Assist with inventory management and maintain records

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the project
