Kula ExampleTo be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3+ years of experience in application or infrastructure security. You should also possess expertise in vulnerability management, IAM, and cloud security (AWS/GCP). A CISSP or CEH certification is preferred, but not required. Additionally, you should have strong Python scripting skills.
You will partner with our engineering team to embed security into the SDLC, ensuring that security is integrated into every stage of the development process. This will involve working closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and address security risks early on.
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
Conducting regular security assessments and code reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our applications and infrastructure.
Implementing and managing WAF, DLP, and encryption solutions to protect our customer data.
Partnering with our engineering team to embed security into the SDLC.
Working closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and address security risks early on.
Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and implementing best practices to ensure the security and integrity of our applications and infrastructure.
Expertise in vulnerability management to identify and address potential security risks.
Strong understanding of IAM to ensure secure access to our systems and data.
Experience with cloud security (AWS/GCP) to ensure secure deployment and management of our applications and infrastructure.
Strong Python scripting skills to automate security tasks and integrate security into the SDLC.
Ability to analyze complex security data and identify trends and patterns.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to implement and manage WAF, DLP, and encryption solutions to protect customer data.
