Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Professional to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure continuous security coverage
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, and contractors
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards, including performing physical security checks and heavy lifting when necessary
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and first aid administration
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other incidents following proper procedures
- Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as required to maintain compliance with security regulations
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety
Skills
- Extensive experience with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices and familiarity with security regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in performing background checks and conducting thorough security screenings
- Ability to operate first aid tools including CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and Taser devices confidently
- Strong physical security skills including patrolling, heavy lifting, manual handling, and maintaining secure access control systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff, visitors, or clients
- Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail for accurate documentation of events
- Capable of managing emergency response procedures effectively during critical situations
