Security Solution Engineer The Security Solution Engineer is a part of the Security group within and responsible for designing and implementing best practice in identity and access management (IAM), data analysis and integration to enhance enterprise security, efficiency and agility.
This role focuses on engineering support of information systems including analyzing, designing and implementing best practice in identity and access management, and working with Identity Architects and Security Analyst to understand the IAM vision and requirements respectively.
Requires input from supervisors on non-routine, complex issues. Reports to the Identity and Access Operations Manager. Has no direct/indirect reports.
Support the enterprise IAM Vision, strategy and architecture that contribute to the Vision's objectives and priorities. Support an ongoing multiyear IAM Roadmap.Investigate methods and tools to manage identities across legacy applications, web applications and cloud services, and across multiple entities and geographical locations.
Produce workable solutions that meet demands of business situations using identity analytics, evaluating IAM and security processes for efficiency and agility.
Produce reports of collected, analyzed and summarized data and trends for the IAM infrastructure.Support trials and PoCs of relevant internally developed and market solutions with the aim of an efficient and robust architecture that consolidates, harmonizes and simplifies both the enterprise IAM infrastructure and the business processes that rely upon and interact with it.
Implement accepted solutions in production environment and transition operational processes to appropriate support teams.Maintain and enhance security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; develop and evaluate metrics related to the volume, consumption and integration of identity information; monitor relevant IAM components, identifying inefficiencies and security gaps; evaluate and implement enhancements in accordance with the IAM Roadmap.
Communicate proactively and openly listen to others within the team; consult with others when decisions can impact performance or efficiency.
Design and implement effective, repeatable, scalable and measurable processes to assure that privileges are effectively managed to prevent insider threats or reduce the impact of an external attacker abusing elevated privileges.
5 + years of specialized experience
Minimum 5 years of experience working in an Information Security role
Microsoft Azure AD, Active Directory Federation Services, Azure AD B2C
Microsoft MIM, AADC
Modern Auth methodologies SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM
Federated Identity platforms Ping, Okta, Centrify/Idaptive, Microsoft Identity Platform, etc.
Knowledge of PKI, including Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, and/or Venafi
RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle (formerly Aveksa)
