Must have:
- High School Diploma/GED with over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, software development, or programming - Significant experience in software development, particularly in Java, data analysis, and SQL - Extensive background in managing the complete data lifecycle from ingestion to display within Big Data environments - Proficient in Java-related technologies such as JDK, J2EE, JDBC, and comfortable with RESTful APIs - Proven capabilities in developing and executing complex ETL tasks in a Linux environment - Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is a prerequisite for this role Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Hadoop, Hbase, MapReduce, and compliance automation tools utilized by our Sponsor - Experience with Elasticsearch, NiFi, Kafka, and Zookeeper
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement large-scale data ingestion systems within intricate Big Data environments - Optimize all phases of the data lifecycle, from initial planning and ingestion to final presentation - Create and deploy comprehensive processes for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and replication - Develop tailored solutions and code to efficiently ingest and leverage varied data sources - Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to enhance overall application performance - Maintain detailed documentation to ensure systems are clear and accessible - Work alongside teammates, vendors, and users to innovate and improve data methodologies
