Requirements
Must have:
- 6+ years of experience in designing and constructing modern data platforms and pipelines - Proficiency in AI/ML-driven workflows - Strong expertise in SQL and Python - Practical experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark - Experience implementing ETL/ELT solutions in Azure - Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools - Understanding of agentic automation concepts - Experience in designing Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, or Lakehouses - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps - Experience working within Agile frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Ensure industry best practices in data engineering, governance, and automation are consistently applied and enhanced - Design, construct, and maintain secure, scalable, and dependable data pipelines and products utilizing modern lake house architectures (Databricks) - Lead the creation and execution of intelligent data workflows, enabling automation, orchestration, and self-healing capabilities of data pipelines - Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and convert them into scalable data and automation solutions - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data engineering team - Direct the design and implementation of a scalable Data Lakehouse architecture with Databricks, Delta Lake, and cloud technologies - Develop reusable data frameworks and tools to enhance engineering efficiency - Propel the integration of AI-assisted development and automation technologies - Cooperate on Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data strategies - Ensure observability, monitoring, and automated alert systems are established for data pipelines
