Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $185,000 base

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own and scale our data infrastructure. This person will be hands-on, strong in modern data tooling, and able to turn complex business needs into clean, reliable data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines
• Own and optimize data models in Snowflake and DBT
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and reliability
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate data needs into solutions
• Lead data discussions and clearly communicate trade-offs and insights
• Work with eCommerce data (Shopify) to support analytics and reporting

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Deep experience with DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, large datasets)
• Proven experience building and scaling ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience working with Shopify data, APIs, and eCommerce datasets
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior business stakeholders
