Must have:
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Atlanta, GA - Authorization to work in the United States without any current or future sponsorship is required (no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship available) - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 2 years of experience, or 16 years of equivalent professional experience and education - Proficient in batch and real-time data processing frameworks - Strong experience in data modeling, data access, schemas, and data storage techniques within Snowflake - Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high-volume software systems and client-facing web applications - Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, or Postgres/PostgreSQL - Experienced with business intelligence tools and platforms - Knowledge of data quality tools - Understanding of application lifecycle methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, iterative) - Experience with ETL processes and tools - Proficient in using Git - Familiarity with AI-related tools, such as co-pilot - Experience in implementing new tools within environments
Responsibilities:
- Collects and processes raw, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data through batch and real-time data processing frameworks - Enforces appropriate data master management practices - Ensures the quality of data and employs tools and frameworks to automate the identification of data quality issues - Collaborates with internal and external data providers for data validation, providing feedback and customizing data feeds and mappings - Understands the daily challenges faced by the analytics team and partners with them to design effective data solutions - Suggests enhancements to processes, technology, and interfaces to boost team efficiency and minimize technical debt - Implements and enhances data solutions in enterprise data warehouses and big data repositories - Installs, maintains, monitors, and provides support for business intelligence, distributed computing, and big data analytics tools - Offers ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products - Provides technical mentorship and guidance to less experienced data engineers - Actively engages in the engineering community to stay informed about new data technologies and best practices and shares insights with our organization
