Experience Level: Mid-Level – Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience in Data analytics using hands-on expertise in Power BI, Alteryx, and SQL.
Shift Timings: 04:00 PM - 01:00 AM IST
What Is Expected Out Of You
As part of the job, you will:
Analyse existing Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models. Analyse existing Alteryx workflows and understand data ingestion and transformation logic. Identify the source databases, schemas, tables, views, and columns used by reports.
Trace data from source systems through Alteryx/ETL processes into Power BI. Understand SQL queries, joins, filters, transformations, calculations, and aggregations. Map relationships between Power BI reports, datasets, Alteryx workflows, and source tables.
Create and maintain data lineage and source-to-target mappings. Document existing reporting/data architecture clearly for technical and business stakeholders. Work with stakeholders to validate report logic and source data.
Identify duplicate, unused, or potentially obsolete data sources where applicable.
