Requirements

Must have:

- Over 10 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Engineer in OLTP or real-time systems - More than 5 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL in production settings - Strong analytical, investigative, and troubleshooting abilities - Capability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - A keen sense of ownership, commitment to quality, and enthusiasm for enhancing software products

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain database solutions for efficient data storage and retrieval - Analyze requirements and assist in the development of both structural and conceptual data models - Enhance real-time transactional performance through rigorous testing, tuning, and optimization - Monitor, troubleshoot, and upkeep current database systems - Establish and execute security, backup, and high-availability strategies - Collaborate with our Development team to facilitate new feature design and future system requirements - Suggest best practices for provisioning and configuring SQL Server and PostgreSQL instances - Support production deployments and aid in resolving complex issues in distributed environments
