Duration: 6 Months with Possible extensions The Cloud Storage team is in charge of design and implementation ofNew Generation Cloud Storage platform services: including object/block/file/NoSQL storage services .
We also closely cooperatingwith higher level service teams (Relational Database Services, Data Warehouse & Big Data analytic services), that build their success on top of fundamentals that we provide.
Our team is looking for smart engineers who are passionate about cloud technologies and will help us to build world-class public and private cloud storage solutions.
Excellent hands-on programming and coding in C/C years)
Familiarity with modern concepts/algorithm/data structures in the area of distributed systems and databases including relational and NoSQL/Graph etc.
Knowledge and experience on database internal development (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
o Not looking for database admins, DevOps o Not looking for resources who develop applications on top of the database
Knowledge and experience on containerization (docker/Swarm, K8s) and/or Big data analytics (Spark, Flink, Kafka, etc) is a plus.
Great passion for building cloud storage solutions with industry leading performance is a must.
Understanding of software development life-cycle.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
BS degree in computer science or related field.
Work in a small engineering team on a high performance distributed transactional system.
Design assigned feature and output design spec for the system
Implement features in C++ (11/14/17) mostly and maybe some script as well.
Implement test cases for various features.
Co-manage a small server cluster of CICD and test environment.
