Must have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a Professional Engineer License - Extensive understanding of engineering designs, principles, and practices - Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex electrical and mechanical systems - Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques and engineering theory - In-depth familiarity with applicable standards, codes, methods, and practices relevant to specialized fields - Over 7 years of professional engineering experience with comprehensive expertise in specific engineering areas - Capability to apply advanced engineering concepts to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues - Minimum of three relevant career experiences involving changes in technical responsibilities OR - Active participant in a recognized industry committee OR - Professional Engineers License, an advanced degree, MBA, or Project Management Certification beneficial - Participation in career-related experiences that reflect technical responsibility changes is important.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of reliability engineering programs by translating approved engineering recommendations into actionable scopes, schedules, and plans - Coordinate efforts across Operations, Field, Construction & Maintenance, and T&S Engineering to resolve technical challenges and operational impacts - Create and maintain technical documentation including scopes of work and field guidance as required - Monitor and manage the progress of reliability initiatives, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions - Provide technical assistance during implementation, resolving execution phase issues, and supporting field activities - Assess complex technical issues requiring specialized knowledge and suggest resolutions, including evaluation of engineering designs - Initiate and lead projects with substantial financial and operational implications, including drafting commissioning plans - Engage in departmental planning through site walkdowns, meetings, and budget monitoring to achieve specified results - May participate in technical societies to stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to the companys interests.
