SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• Proficient in front-end development using Angular 10
• Robust back-end engineering with Advanced Java (Java 8) and Spring Framework (Spring 4, Spring MVC, Spring REST)
• Proven experience building and deploying Spring Boot Microservices
• Strong database management, optimization, and data integrity using MySQL
• Hands-on experience developing and implementing geospatial data solutions
• Solid understanding of web services integrations using SOAP and REST APIs

Secondary (Good to Have)

• Experience writing clean technical documentation and process maps for knowledge sharing
• Familiarity with data security measures and industry compliance standards for financial or geospatial data
• Experience operating in an Agile environment with proactive workload prioritization

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and independent Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team for a 6 month remote contract engagement. Operating within the dynamic Fintech domain for FIS, the successful candidate will own the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of robust web applications. This role uniquely blends advanced Java backend engineering, modern Angular frontend architecture, and specialized geospatial solutions to directly enhance business processes, data management, and strategic decision-making frameworks.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement scalable geospatial solutions utilizing Spring Boot Microservices and Advanced Java to optimize business data workflows.
• Architect and build responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces using Angular 10 , ensuring seamless integration with underlying backend systems.
• Manage, structure, and optimize database performance using MySQL, ensuring complete data integrity for complex geospatial data storage and retrieval.
• Formulate comprehensive technical specifications from complex client requirements, translating abstract business needs into highly functional software deliverables.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and security implementation protocols to minimize downtime, protect sensitive data, and ensure strict compliance with industry standards.
