About the Role:Triunity Software is looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our growing team in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold engineering best practices
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security across the full software lifecycle
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into existing platforms
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in Java development
Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate
Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
