Senior Mobile Developer – Android
Owings Mills, MD(Onsite)
Relevant Experience (in Yrs.): 9+
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
8+ years of progressive Android development experience
Strong experience with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON integration
Experience building multi-threaded and network-based applications
Knowledge of Play Store policies, publishing, and release management
Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrum SDLC environments
Ability to debug and resolve complex issues independently
Experience implementing automated testing frameworks
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Android applications
Collaborate with internal business, architecture, design, DevOps, and security teams
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers
Drive architectural and design decisions aligned with enterprise standards
Perform code reviews and enforce best development practices
Estimate development efforts and manage delivery timelines
Identify technical risks and propose innovative solutions
Support full application lifecycle from development to deployment and maintenance
Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders and management
Lead strategic vs tactical technical discussions and trade-off analysis
