Senior .NET Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- A Masters degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience, or significant experience in place of a degree - Certification as a SCRUM Master - At least 10 years of experience in developing web applications utilizing Microsoft C# - Minimum of 5 years of front-end development expertise with JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, CSS, and XHTML, preferably including HTML5/CSS3 - A minimum of 5 years working with jQuery and at least one modern JavaScript single-page application framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or Blazor - Proficient in debugging web pages (layout, JavaScript, AJAX) using browser developer tools - At least 5 years of experience with RESTful API endpoints - Familiarity with .NET Core and later versions - Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) - Must successfully pass a USCP Background Check.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the software development team to enhance and maintain existing software applications written in .NET, ColdFusion, and Java, utilizing SQL Server and Oracle databases in the backend - Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with key stakeholders, presenting material proficiently to various management levels - Work alongside non-technical clients to devise software solutions that meet their needs - Consult with subject-matter experts to evaluate existing solutions, databases, and reports, proposing or implementing enhancements as necessary - Operate efficiently in an independent work environment without micromanagement - Update technical reference documentation and developer WIKIs as required - Contribute in an Agile environment, employing SCRUM or Kanban methodologies - Discover innovative solutions for legacy applications and adjust to incorporate emergent technologies for new requirements.
