Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Position: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location: Remote Experience: 13+ Years Work type: C2C only Visa Type: GC and US Citizen Job Summary PETADATA is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 13+ years of experience in SQL/PLSQL development, performance tuning, and database optimization to build and support scalable, high-performance Oracle database solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors

Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions

Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and reliability

Develop and maintain database objects, indexes, and views

Perform query tuning and performance optimization using execution plans and indexing strategies

Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams

Support data migration, data validation, and database deployment activities

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to database performance and data integrity

Ensure database code follows best practices, standards, and security guidelines

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance Required Skills 13+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development

Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming

Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases

Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing

Experience with data modeling and database design concepts

Hands-on experience with packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors

Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and large data volumes

Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting

Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
