About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings) to join a growing multidisciplinary A/E firm and lead high-impact building projects across New York State.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring engineers, owning complex designs, and serving as a trusted technical partner to clients.

This position focuses on building structures — not transportation or highway projects.
Lead and oversee structural analysis and design for a variety of building types
Develop and review structural models and calculation packages
Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects
Mentor and delegate work to junior engineers and designers
Review and oversee construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, BIM tools
Perform technical and quality reviews in line with industry and company standards
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
Support construction phase services and site investigations
Travel within New York State as needed
Technical Skills & Tools
STAAD Pro, RAM Elements, or similar
Design & documentation tools:
Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Mathcad, Excel
Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design
Ability to take projects from concept through final design with minimal oversight
BS or MS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis required)
New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license / from any other states accepted.
Candidates eligible for NY PE reciprocity are encouraged to apply
10+ years of structural engineering experience (buildings)
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
