Job Summary

This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact IT infrastructure programs that directly enable Workday's global expansion and workplace excellence. You will serve as the critical bridge between real estate construction and technology deployment, ensuring that every new office location is equipped with world-class infrastructure from day one. This role requires a strategic leader who thrives in dynamic construction environments and can orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder programs where timing, precision, and technical rigor are paramount.

You will own the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure deployments across global real estate projects, working at the intersection of construction sequencing, network engineering, and operational readiness to ensure seamless occupancy transition s.

Responsibiliti es

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional IT infrastructure programs tied to global real estate proj ects• Build and maintain integrated deployment roadmaps that align IT workstreams with construction sequencing, including cabling, MDF/IDF buildouts, power, and r acks• Anticipate field-level risks and dependencies, develop mitigation plans, and adjust course to prevent impacts on occupancy milest ones• Provide outcome-focused, executive-level reporting on site readiness and deployment he alth• Partner with Real Estate, Facilities, Network Engineering, and Security to define site requirements and success met rics• Drive the end-to-end delivery of IT equipment, owning shipment tracking and on-site receiving readiness to prevent idle hardware or missed delivery win dows• Balance speed, cost, and quality when guiding critical trade-offs between construction delays and IT installation win dows• Refine repeatable IT Construction Playbooks to accelerate future site launches and office expans ions• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors in Business Technology and Workplace funct ions• Facilitate collaboration across general contractors, low-voltage vendors, and internal infrastructure engineering t eams• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, identifying and escalating site conflicts such as space constraints and wiring issues before they impact the critical path• Feed infrastructure best practices and lessons learned from site builds into the broader PMO portf olio• Maintain daily readiness checklists and punch-list governance to ensure all IT deliverables are inspection-r eady

• Strong judgment and decision-making in fast-paced, high-stakes construction enviro nments• Skilled in evaluating site deployment options, assessing physical risks, and guiding leaders toward sound dec isions• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, with capacity to engage both field-level vendors and corporate lead ership• Adaptable and resilient, with ability to manage shifting construction schedules while maintaining long-term focus on occupancy dates• Experience developing and applying repeatable infrastructure deployment pla ybooks

Qualific ations

• 12+ years of experience in program or project management, with success leading enterprise-scale, physical infrastructure or construction-related ini tiatives• 8+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, network engineering, or hardware deployment envi ronments• 5-7 years experience managing end-to-end IT construction projects, including low-voltage cabling, MDF/IDF buildouts, and site com missions• Proven ability to lead high-visibility programs with executive stakeholders and external general con tractors• PMP or equivalent certification p referred
