Shopify Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Customize:

Build and customize Shopify themes and apps to enhance user experience and meet business needs.

Integrate Solutions:

Implement third-party applications and APIs to improve store functionality and streamline processes.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors promptly to ensure minimal disruption.

Collaboration:

Work closely with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to implement new features and updates.

SEO Best Practices:

Apply SEO best practices to improve site visibility and drive traffic.

Stay Updated:

Keep abreast of the latest Shopify trends, updates, and best practices to continuously enhance our e-commerce platform.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify developer/engineer
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and Shopify APIs.
• Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
