Skilled Construction Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join construction team. We are family owned company and have been in the industry for over 20+ years.

What we're looking for is someone skilled in construction overall, interiors including light electrical, plumbing, and light finish work. Having experience in coating systems (Westcoat, Enduro Kote, Polytuff ect) is a HUGE plus. We get work all over the bay area. Duties

• Operate power tools, hand tools, and machinery safely and efficiently for various construction activities
• Perform heavy lifting 50+ lbs and manual handling of materials, equipment, and supplies to support construction workflows
• Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
• Support you field supervisor and be on time to work everyday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience
• Reliable transportation (truck preferred)
• Own basic hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow plans/instructions
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varying weather conditions

Experience Preferred

• Interior remodeling and tenant improvements
• Framing
• Drywall installation and repair
• light Texture and painting (will train)
• light Trim and finish carpentry
• Cabinet installation
• Flooring (LVP, tile)
• Doors and windows
• Basic plumbing
• Basic electrical
• Concrete repair and basic finishing
• Waterproofing / flashings
• Caulking and sealants

Specialty Coatings (Huge Plus)

• Westcoat systems
• Poly tuff and polyurethane coatings
• Epoxy flooring systems
• Enduro Coat systems
• Urethane coatings
• Waterproof deck coatings
• Surface preparation (grinding, moisture mitigation)

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Forklift certification
• Scissor lift/Boom lift certification
• First Aid/CPR
• Pay: $30–$45 per hour (DOE) Company truck for right candidate after 90 day probation period and driving record background check.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
