Software Commission Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Proficient in PLC programming and HMI development - Experience in commissioning and debugging control software for Motion, Vision, and Safety systems - Strong understanding of hardware configurations including inverters and safety devices - Ability to create detailed documentation adhering to customer standards - Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and assess project risks - Strong communication abilities to liaise effectively between customers and engineering teams - Experience in managing project timelines and costs - Knowledge of production quality assurance processes

Responsibilities:

- Oversee time and cost management for projects - Commission, debug, and test PLC, HMI, and control software at customer sites - Configure and initiate hardware devices including manifolds and motors at customer locations - Collaborate with the engineering team during the handover phase - Work together to identify potential project risks - Develop documentation that meets customer commissioning standards - Participate actively in team and project review sessions - Coordinate activities between internal and outsourced software teams - Serve as a technical liaison on-site between customers and engineering - Monitor and document updates and variations from the original project scope - Ensure all system functionalities meet cycle-time and quality standards - Provide customer training and maintenance guidelines
