Headway TechnologiesWe are looking for a motivated intern to join our team to develop an application that parses data log files and integrates them into our existing Discover FDC application.
This role involves building a universal, configurable solution, validating results, and enabling database-driven configuration with auditing capabilities. This position is located in Milpitas, CA.
Design and develop an application to parse data log files and feed them into the Discover FDC app
Ensure the solution is universal and easily configurable for different log file types
Validate and test parsed results, then apply them to the existing Discover FDC application
Gain a solid understanding of Discover FDC functionality and its role in manufacturing processes
Work with databases to enable dynamic configuration of parsing rules and actions
Implement an auditing mechanism to detect and alert changes in data log files
Partners with other team members or groups to share knowledge and learnings
Prepares end of internship report and presentation
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level*Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with Java, Python, databases (SQL), Visual Basic, .NET, C#,
Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Understanding of CSV and XML files structure and parsing

Flexible and able to prioritize The annual salary for this full-time position is between $66, , benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
The annual salary pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.
Working Conditions The Software Development Engineer Intern works primarily in an office environment from Monday to Friday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Occasionally, works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer fab manufacturing facility; adheres to required safety and dress standards.
Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment.
May occasionally push, pull, or lift up to 10 pounds.
