Ideal candidate for this job would have created and maintained multiple Restful APIs, preferably using .Net framework. They should also have experience in SQL server databases, micro services and CICD pipelines.
Job Description:
Responsible for compiling and analyzing information and developing and revising software applications, APIs, automations, and configurations. Works with users, business analysts, product owners, Database Administrators, Software Engineers, and Project Managers to assess needs and design of applications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Build APIs, interfaces and application programs based on requirements provided
- Responsible for modifications of existing programs that may require total redesign or new programs
- Works with business analysts and customers to resolve problems and help plan for future needs
- Works with users to understand use of systems and system enhancement or modification needs.
- Uses system analysis and troubleshooting to identify issues and design solutions
- Creates and modifies complex applications programs, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs
- Creates documentation for applications, systems, and processes
- Performs job duties as assigned as part of ALSACs Business Continuity Management Program, including annual maintenance and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery and emergency response plans.
- Perform on-call support duties (no overtime- weekly hours will be adjusted)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, mathematics, or related field
- 6+ years technical, analytical, systems and programming experience.
- 6+ years .NET experience
- Strong experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs and SOAP
- Excellent SQL Skills
- Experience with agile development
- Experience with BlackBaud CRM a plus
- CI/CD experience, experience with Jenkins preferred
- Experience with OpenShift preferred
- SSIS experience preferred
- React experience preferred
- Top 3 Skills: .Net Framework; API and micro services development; SQL Server DB
NOTE ON CALL DUTIES: The on-call team representative participates in a weekly rotation, ensuring availability for production support activities outside of standard working hours. They will handle daily validations and rare after-hours validations, typically taking 10-15 minutes each day. The representative must be reachable within 30 minutes outside of 7 PM to 7 AM Central and is compensated for active work hours resulting from on-call escalations. Accurate tracking time and reporting are essential, and contractors must submit detailed invoices reflecting all hours worked for approval and payment.
