Requirements

Must have:

- Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple engineers - Proven ability to balance team leadership with technical guidance - Solid experience in developing and managing modern applications using: - C# / .NET - Relational and non-relational databases - React or similar contemporary front-end frameworks - API and service development, including REST and event-driven architectures - Extensive experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency - Familiarity with microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectural patterns - Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and operational excellence, including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, incident management, and SRE practices - Experience working in Agile environments, particularly with Scrum and/or SAFe methodologies - Exceptional technical judgment and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to make practical trade-offs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence various stakeholders across engineering and product teams - Practical experience with implementing GenAI-enabled development practices and setting team guidelines for its usage

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of 6-12 software engineers through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, and career progression - Act as the technical lead for your Scrum team, guiding architectural and design decisions while ensuring the delivery of outstanding results - Take ownership of software delivery for your product area within a SAFe Agile framework, managing dependencies and driving consistent execution - Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to shape and sustain a technology roadmap that balances the delivery of features with reliability, scalability, and technical debt management - Work alongside Product Management to define and maintain a product roadmap that reflects business value, technical considerations, and resource allocation - Provide level 3 support for production systems, including incident response, root-cause analysis, and ongoing improvements - Establish and uphold engineering best practices throughout the team, including code review, secure coding, unit test automation, CI/CD, documentation, and operational readiness - Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to ensure alignment in architectural patterns and coherent evolution of the platform - Foster the adoption of GenAI-supported engineering practices while implementing appropriate governance, security measures, and quality control
