This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit’s Defense Business Unit (“Spirit Defense”). Position Responsibilities:
- Maintains company book of accounts by preparing, collecting, and analyzing accounting data to communicate financial information to company organizations and external customers
- Provides financial guidance and recommendations to management, customers, and employees
- Ensures compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards
- Develops and implements new accounting methods and processes, as well as improvements to automated accounting systems
- Identifies and resolves complex financial issues
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Math, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting or related experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access
- Master's Degree
- ERP experience
- Proficiency with SAP
- Aerospace background

Summary Pay Range: $55,550- $85,150
