We need strong technical capability in database design, deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting.
We require solid knowledge of database security principles, including access governance and protection best practices.

Responsibilities:
- We design, implement, and maintain high-performing database environments that support applications and business operations.
We improve database efficiency through capacity planning, query tuning, index optimization, and other performance-enhancement techniques.
We carry out database engineering and administration tasks, including installation, configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and issue resolution.
We develop and apply data management policies and operational best practices to protect data integrity, availability, and security.
We build and maintain security controls such as access permissions, encryption, roles, auditing, and other safeguards.
We partner with developers, system administrators, application owners, and other stakeholders to deliver effective database solutions.
We lead database initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, deployments, and related project work.
We create and test backup and restore strategies, including validation of recovery procedures.
We configure and support high-availability solutions and disaster recovery plans.
We apply SQL Server patches and updates and perform regression testing to confirm system stability.
We develop monitoring and alerting tools, investigate performance trends, and implement corrective actions.
We administer cloud database services such as Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.
We support document management system projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
We provide advanced support for related systems such as knowledge management, indexing, records management, and ethical wall platforms.
We document procedures, share knowledge, and train application owners and developers.
We stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our database infrastructure.
We participate in firmwide IT initiatives, project teams, and escalation efforts as needed.
We perform other duties as assigned.
