Architect, Install and maintain the performance of MSSQL database servers on-premises.
Architect, Install and maintain the performance of MSSQL database servers in AWS/Azure Database Cloud
Design and Implement High Availability & Disaster Recovery solutions using SQL Server Clustering, SQL Servers Always ON
Develop Database standards for Optimizing database security based on compliance needs.
Develop Backup Solution in Cloud and On-Prem using SQL Native & Cloud Backup solutions.
Experience with provisioning SQL server database access thru Cyber Ark & MSA
Performance tuning of database systems
Install, upgrade, and support database applications.
Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
Create and manage SSRS reports, SSIS packages, Exports and Imports
Create Automation for repeating database tasks.
Experience with Compliance such as HIPAA, SOC, SOC2, PCI & FISMA is a plus
Be available for on-call support as needed.
Understand SQL Licensing and works on a Physical, VM vs Cloud Instances
Have DR plans published and documented for Recovery in case of a Disaster.
Strong command of MSSQL and SQL server tools
Advanced knowledge of Database security, Backup and Recovery, and Performance tuning and monitoring standards
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server Operating System, Domain, Windows Clustering
Knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud Instance types, Storage and Architecture
Knowledge of Managed Instances/Un-Managed/Dedicated Instances in Cloud
Understanding of Relational Data modeling
Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
Knowledge on SAN Storage, RAID
Knowledge of Physical Hardware and Settings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Impeccable attention to detail.
