Need SQL DBA with SQL Server migration experience
Hands on experience on SQL Server 2012 Migrations.
Build new server, install SQL Server instance , apply Service packs and Security patches and upgrade instance
Hands on experience on trouble shooting apply service pack and Security patches issues.
Ability to handle Performance tuning and configuration management.
Experience in linked server configuration, issues troubleshooting.
In depth knowledge of Fundamentals of SQL Server.
In depth knowledge of SQL Server Backup and Recovery, fixing orphans issues.
Good Knowledge of SQL Server backups types
Good Knowledge of SQL Server Recovery model.
Analyze user sql, optimize and recommend indexes.
Hands on knowledge of trouble shooting sql agents jobs and Maintenance plans failure.
Monitor databases for space utilization and performance degradation and tune as needed.
Experience in High Availability Features(Logshipping, Mirroring, Replication,Always on)
Experience in Disaster Recovery configuration.
Participate in production break fix and application issues
Managing Database User Privileges (granting & revoking permissions)
Have knowledge of SQL Server Scripting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to act independently when possible, to complete a task end-to-end
