SQL DBA at Brookyn, NY
Interview Process – (Phone + SKype)
Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
Required: 4 years of systems experience, including 2 years of database experience.
Preferred: 6 years of systems experience, including 2 years of database experience.
Expert in Database Administration for Microsoft SQL Server,.
Expert in SQL Server Architecture and building, installation, upgrade and configuration of MS SQL Server
Expert in Planning and implementing the Database design and Data Modeling
Expert in Planning and implementing SQL Server Security and Replication of Databases
Strong knowledge and working experience with SQL Server clustering, log shipping mirroring or other technologies.
Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance.
Effectively utilize troubleshooting hardware and/or tools.
