Extensive experience with T-SQL language
Experience with Data Warehouse and Data modeling
Experience with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
Implementing and testing database design and functionality, and tuning for performance (partitioning tables, partitioning indexes, indexing, normalization, synchronization, job monitoring, etc.)
Knowledge of database administrator is plus (Maintenance, Backups)
Share knowledge by effectively documenting work
Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution.
Bachelor's Degree in IS or CS or equivalent experience
MSSQL 2008/2012 certifications a plus
10+ years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server Technologies with deep knowledge in troubleshooting and performance monitoring SQL Server Database server
Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Severs 2005, SQL 2008R2, SQL 2012 (SQL 2014 a plus) and Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
Ability to work with minimal direction, in a strong team environment.
Analytical thinking and adept at problem solving
Ability to prioritize based on customer needs, as well as dependencies on other team members, or other platform teams
Demonstrated ability to solve complex database administration problems
