Client is seeking an experienced and versatile technology professional with proven success driving IT projects from initiation to implementation. We are seeking a technology professional with a hands-on attitude to meet deadlines and exceed business expectations that brings an innovate approach to problem solving.

A front-to-back driver in all aspects of a project through requirements, development, testing, and implementation, this candidate will have experience with managing projects in an agile fashion.

The candidate will be able to analyze business application requirements for functional areas and design, test, and debug software applications.

Additional responsibilities include recommending system changes and enhancements, documenting software specifications, and training users. This role will primarily focus on end-to-end development and support of technology and integration solutions using modern technologies and pragmatic practices.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and evaluate current application suite to improve processes and meet user needs
• Resolve highly complex issues to provide timely resolutions
• Intermediate SQL Server T-SQL skills and database experience, including in depth understanding of Join types, Sub
• Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures, Optimization, and Advanced Query Writing.
• Ability to translate complex business logic and requirements into functional queries
• Develop and maintain Stored Procedures, Functions and Views
• Perform SQL query tuning and performance optimization on complex inefficient queries
• Understand scope, objectives and requirements in a project management capacity to execute project vision to meet business demands
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle in a team environment
• Debug existing code and troubleshoot for issues
• Provide fair and thoughtful estimates of task completion, tight feedback loops, and rapid delivery of business value
• Inform and educate leadership and business stakeholders about project modifications and issues that impact deliverables and deadlines
• Identify, update and communicate current solutions that are in production or under development
• Ensure that solution, process, or business knowledge is communicated across the other members of the technology team to mitigate single point of contact risks
• Strong client facing skills; proven track record to partner with the business directly whenever possible, to ensure solution requirements and quality are addressed in a timely/urgent fashion during the development cycle
• Ensure testing of solutions meets business criteria and IT standards
• Strong teamwork and collaboration focus; look for opportunities to assist other team members on their remaining tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technology related field
• Experience in business systems analysis and SQL development
• Experience working with vendors
• Solid understanding of application development design principles and patterns, and the software development lifecycle
• Disciplined development practices to include version control and change management; experience with VSTS/Azure DevOps is a plus
• Experience in developing, maintaining and supporting database processes using Microsoft SQL Server with emphasis on .NET technologies
• Experience with XML/XPath/XSLT technologies is a plus
• Strong knowledge of common Windows productivity tools such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, etc.
• Business experience in financial functions such as loan accounting, lending, underwriting, etc. a plus
• Knowledge of Black Mountain Everest is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; strong ability to be an active listener; ability to present complex, technical ideas in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences
• Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with limited supervision
