Role:-SQL Server developer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SQL Server databases and data solutions.
- Develop and support SSIS packages for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
- Create, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent Jobs.
- Build and maintain ETL solutions using BIDS/SSDT.
- Write and optimize complex T SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Diagnose and resolve data issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. Microsoft Fabric
- Ensure that data is secure and meets all regulatory compliance standards, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption in Azure environments.
- Develop and configure monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively enhance performance and optimize data systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing.
- Produce clear, concise technical documentation for all developed solutions
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later preferred).
- Hands-on expertise in SSIS package development and deployment.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server Agent Jobs, scheduling, alerts, and monitoring.
- Experience in using BIDS / SSDT for ETL and database development.
- Advanced proficiency in T SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Understanding of relational database design, indexing strategies, and constraints.
- Experience troubleshooting ETL failures and data inconsistencies.
- Familiarity with source control and deployment practices for database/ETL artifacts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience or knowledge of Azure services (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, etc.)
- Experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Experience in data modeling, data architecture, and implementing ETL/ELT solutions
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Experience with data governance and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.
- Understanding ML/AI concepts.
- Azure certifications
