We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain SQL-based data solutions that support business reporting, analytics, and operational systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in relational databases, performance tuning, and data modeling, and works closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions

· Optimize SQL performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis

· Develop and maintain data models and database schemas to support analytics and reporting needs

· Collaborate with business stakeholders and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems

· Support ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering teams

· Perform code reviews and enforce SQL development best practices

· Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and production issues

· Create and maintain technical documentation for database objects and processes

· Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field

· 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or similar role

· Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or ANSI SQL)

· Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

· Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas, normalization)

· Experience with performance tuning and query optimization

· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, DevOps)

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting analytics or BI environments

· Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS, Alteryx, Knime etc.)

· Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure SQL, Snowflake, AWS, Fabric, Databricks)

· Knowledge of Python or another scripting language

· Exposure to reporting and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

· Experience working with large-scale or enterprise data environments
