SQL / SSRS Developer
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented SQL / SSRS Developer to design, develop, and maintain data-driven reporting solutions. This role is responsible for building robust SQL queries, developing SSRS reports, and supporting business stakeholders with accurate, timely insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy SSRS reports (tabular, matrix, dashboards, and drill-through reports)
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
- Collaborate with business users to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across reporting environments
- Maintain and enhance existing reports and data models
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance or data-related issues
- Support scheduled report execution, subscriptions, and delivery mechanisms
- Work with ETL teams to validate data flows and ensure reporting readiness
- Document technical specifications and reporting logic
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in SQL Server development
- Hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)
- Experience creating stored procedures, views, and indexes
- Understanding of relational database design principles
- Experience with report deployment and management in SSRS environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Microsoft SQL Server
- SSRS (Report Builder / Visual Studio)
- T-SQL
- SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
- SSIS (preferred)
- Power BI (nice to have)
