Position Title: Application Developer

Location: Montgomery, AL

Pay Rate: $85/hour

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer for a 1-year contract in Montgomery, Alabama, with the potential for renewal. This role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting applications to meet organizational goals. Candidates must be available to work on-site at our Montgomery main office and participate in both video and in-person interviews as needed. The role requires a standard background check and drug screening.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications in line with project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
Participate in code reviews and testing processes.
Document development activities and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Adhere to security and compliance standards, including SOALEWS, E-Verify, and background check protocols.

Required Skills, Education, Certifications:

Proven experience as an Application Developer or similar role (minimum 3 years preferred).
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Experience working in government or enterprise environments is a plus.

No remote work; candidate must be present in Montgomery, AL.
The position does not offer visa sponsorship.
