CLIENT NOTE: We are looking for a database developer, someone experienced in writing stored procedures and SSIS package creation.

Experience and Education

4- 7 yrs Experience in SQL Server database development including stored procedures, table, column, and index creation. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field is generally preferred.

Education and experience may be substituted for one another.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Develop high-quality database solutions.
• Knowledge of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
• Experience in writing Stored Procedures, T-SQL and query tuning on high transaction systems.
• Experience to maintain database indexes, columns and tables using DDL, DML and DCL constructs.
• Experience in using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load).
• Experience data access drivers and JDBC/ODBC configuration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
