Location- St Louis, MO
Duration- Full Time (Permanent)
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
The associate should have expertise & experience in the following technologies:
SQL-Server 2005 – 2016
T-SQL, MS-DOS, Vbscript, PowerShell
SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Idera, SQL Sentry
Should have troubleshooting experience in always on high availability
Should have troubleshooting experience in Windows server failover Clustering
Should have troubleshooting experience in profiler trace
Should have experience in database migration
Should have experience in automation
Should have knowledge in backup/restore (Disaster recovery) and active directory
Any third-party tool knowledge may come handy
Monitoring and maintaining the entire SQL Server environment as L3 resource
Responsible for performing and coordinating SQL Server Database Patching Activities
Perform SQL Server Database Performance Tuning
Troubleshooting SQL Server Database Issues and Escalations
Configuration and Upgrade of SQL Server Database
Ability to work in HA scenarios (Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring)
Expertise in working in new SQL Server setup scenarios
Possess excellent communication and customer handling skills
Possess very good coordination skills to liaise with business, application, other support groups, management and offshore teams.
