Pay Range: $54.50hr - $59.50hr

  • The client is seeking a highly motivated professional with experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale web applications within the Child Support Applications group.
  • The role involves working as a SQL Database Administrator and Senior Developer responsible for developing applications and database integrations using the Microsoft SQL Server platform.
  • Responsibilities include reporting, vendor exports, data warehousing, and other data-related tasks.
  • The candidate will work independently and collaboratively to accomplish project objectives while ensuring performance, quality, and reliability of systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, extract, and transform required data based on business requirements while following data governance standards.
  • Perform detailed data analysis and profiling to support development and implementation of data cleansing and data creation processes.
  • Understand performance, quality, and schedule considerations during development and implementation.
  • Interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively using advanced reporting techniques.
  • Recognize data patterns, quantify potential issues, and identify solutions.
  • Standardize, harmonize, clean, prepare, and use data for dataset development, reporting, and analysis.
  • Provide technical specification support and build interface objects for the project team.
  • Lead efforts to design, test, and validate system interfaces.
  • Work with agency IT staff and federal partners to design, test, and implement interface files and procedures for data exchange.
  • Inspect and correct interface partner files in production when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact for interface production file issues during nightly batch processing and monitor batch jobs for errors.
  • ct as liaison between the Child Support team and interface partners.
  • Perform code, technical, and logical reviews.
  • Monitor database growth trends and recommend normalization strategies and maintenance improvements.
  • Design, develop, and manage data analysis reports using the Microsoft Power BI platform.
  • Serve as the primary DBA for related applications.
  • Participate in monitoring, oversight, and reporting related to development and daily operational activities.
  • Maintain enterprise data ownership and stewardship metadata.
  • Support implementation of policies, standards, and procedures for information architecture and data governance.
  • Develop and maintain effective information architecture and data ownership awareness programs.
  • Monitor regulatory and compliance guidelines to determine their impact on enterprise information architecture.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SQL DBA.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with large system architecture.
  • Experience implementing large-scale production systems.
  • Experience overseeing work of software development vendors.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022.
  • Experience with C#, , and/or .NET.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
Should Have:
  • Experience with Child Support Enforcement system design and development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Skills:
  • MS SQL Server 2022 Enterprise Server and Reporting Services.
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2022.
  • C#, , and .NET.
  • PowerShell.
  • Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong planning, organization, and team coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, project management, and supervision principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
