CEO Rob Roy we believe in revolutionary innovation operational excellence and the principle of karma Switch is where talented people come together to EVOLVE the digital world We believe that innovation isnt just about technologyits about the people culture and purpose that make it happen Every Switch team member contributes to a mission greater than themselves to create the worlds most advanced digital infrastructure that powers the progress of humanity The Role Sr Commissioning Program ManagerThe Sr Commissioning Program Manager leads commissioning strategy and execution across data center projects within their region This role serves as the subject matter expert for commissioning standards execution planning and third party oversight You will work with Construction Design Integration and Operations teams to ensure systems are tested validated and delivered safely and on schedule This role is best aligned to a P4 Lead level based on cross functional influence program ownership and technical leadership without direct organizational management responsibility What Youll DoAssess new data center designs for commissionability and operational riskDevelop commissioning scopes of work and RFPs for third party commissioning partnersSupport onboarding and oversight of third party commissioning agentsReview commissioning schedules test scripts and execution plansPartner with Construction Design QC and Integration teams to align testing and turnover strategiesOversee commissioning activities for fit outs retrofits and multi site deploymentsEnsure commissioning work meets Switch program standards and customer requirementsIdentify commissioning risks and drive resolution before system turnoverReview commissioning documentation reporting and test results for accuracySupport knowledge sharing and mentoring across the commissioning programTravel domestically and internationally as requiredWhat Were Looking ForStrong technical judgment in mission critical commissioning environmentsClear and direct communication across technical and non technical teamsAbility to lead through influence across cross functional groupsStrong ownership of timelines quality standards and project outcomesAbility to manage multiple complex projects at the same timeComfortable working in active construction and live operating environmentsWillingness to validate work in the field when neededConsistent follow through and attention to detailWhat Youll BringRequired 10 years of experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers substations or power generationExperience in commissioning design construction or operations of critical infrastructureExperience overseeing third party contractors or commissioning agentsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and submittalsWorking knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in data centersFamiliarity with EPMS SCADA or BMS platformsKnowledge of regional building codes and safety standardsAbility to travel locally domestically and internationallyPreferred Industry related degree or technical certificationsExperience delivering fast track design build projects or major infrastructure upgradesAdditional Requirements Ability to work extended hours during peak project periodsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionallyComfortable working near live electrical and mechanical equipmentIf you meet most of the qualifications but not all we encourage you to apply Why SwitchA Culture of Karma We are self motivated by karma ensuring our actions contribute to a positive supportive and forward thinking environmentIndustry Leading Designs Work with the most advanced data center technology on the planet and be a part of emerging technology developmentFlexibility &
